Since 1999 Badia)advocats firm has provided comprehensive advisory services to the Gran Teatre del Liceu about booking artists, legal representation in court and since 2015 as Secretary of the Gran Teatre del Liceu Foundation, a position held by Joaquim Badia i Armengol.
Barcelona’s opera house, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, was founded on the Rambla in 1847 and has continued over the years to fulfil its role as a culture and arts centre and one of the symbols of the city. Today it is publicly owned (Government of Catalonia, Barcelona City Council, Barcelona Provincial Council, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport) and administered by the Gran Teatre del Liceu Foundation, which in addition to the aforementioned bodies also includes the Corporate Partner Board and the Societat del Gran Teatre del Liceu, the previous owner.
